I am originally from Gridley, a small Northern California town. I grew up on a small farm home with goats, sheep, and plenty of chickens roaming around. After graduating from Gridley high school, I enrolled at CSU, Sacramento, where I later received my B.S. in Exercise Science. During my time through my undergrad, I concentrated on my passion of strength & conditioning, I was able to coach and train high school football and baseball athletes in improving their physical performance for competition. My notable accomplishment at Sac State is serving as vice president of the Pre-Occupational Therapy Club and vice president/ co-founder of the Global Medical Brigade chapter in 2018 and served a 7-day medical triage in Honduras. I decided to take a leap of faith and continue my academic journey in the state of Georgia by being admitted into the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program at Brenau University. After 3 years of living and experiencing the Northeast Atlanta region, I graduated from Brenau University and decided to move back to California to be closer with family and friends. I was able to complete notable residencies at Shepard center Spinal Cord unit and Athens Orthopedic clinic Hand Therapy rehabilitation. Presently, I am in fellowship- training for Hand Therapy at AOTA-approved Global Reach OT & PT clinic. I hope to implement my strength and conditioning background with UE extremity rehabilitation and serve Northern California.
